Layer 3 Tunnel Support for Open vSwitch - Simon Horman, Netronome

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

This presentation will discuss ongoing work to bring support for handling tunneled packets without an Ethernet header present in the inner packet. Currently the prime focus of this work is to support MPLS-over-GRE, however, the topic is somewhat broader than that and it is the presenter's hope that a wide range of both tunnel and inner packet protocols will be supported. The technical challenges faced and their evolving solutions will be discussed.
