The architectural patterns of large scale platforms are changing. Dedicated VMs and configuration management tools are being replaced by containerization and new service management technologies. In this talk, Ed Rooth, will go over how CoreOS defines #GIFEE (Google's Infrastructure for Everyone Else). He describes the many benefits of adopting Google-style infrastructure, the components needed to do so, and how CoreOS is working to continually improve and simplify deployment for ease of implementation. He will also provide an overview of Tectonic, the enterprise CoreOS + Kubernetes stack, and discuss how you too can achieve #GIFEE.
