Building IaaS platform using OpenStack is a very popular deployment that interests many customers. By using OpenDaylight as the network controller, there will be a good value add to the deployment. However, during our evaluations for bringing OpenDaylight into our HA IaaS platform, we have come across some limitations. We would like to share some learnings from this experience.

This presentation will begin with an introduction to OpenDaylight project. It will also cover my empirical evaluation of OpenDaylight project that could help you measure the success of OpenDaylight project. Then, this presentation will discuss about how to build a HA IaaS platfrom based on OpenStack using OpenDaylight. It will also share some learnings from our experience as well as highlighting the current limitations and possible areas to be improved.
