Bringing Up New Architecture Using Yocto - Marek Vašut, DENX

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

The Yocto project plays one of the key parts in the development process of a vast majority of embedded Linux devices. In this presentation, Marek will explain how to add a new processor architecture into the relevant sub-projects (gcc, binutils, linux, qemu, oe-core to name a few), point out the most common problems and outline their solution. Marek will use his experience from bringing up the Altera Nios2 processor architecture using Yocto to augment the talk with practical examples.
