The benefits of open source software are certainly not something to which businesses are unfamiliar. But actually working with open source communities is not always something that's easy for those organizations.

Working with open source communities is not something that has to be done by hard-core developers alone. Through events, documentation, marketing, and content production, anyone can be a vital participant in community projects.
