Masae is a Senior Program Manager in VMware’s OSPO, leading alignment between community contributions and the company’s business strategies. She started her career as a Windows software developer in Japan, splitting her time between Tokyo and Microsoft in Seattle. In 2005 she moved to the UK taking a role in the telecom semiconductor sector, leading global teams to develop embedded mobile device software based on Linux/Android/iOS, managed the entire product life cycle for commercial products. For the last 10+ years she has led a large scale cloud SaaS transformations, mobile apps development and information security & compliance programs as part of M&A at Cisco and other blue chip companies. She lives in the UK with her English husband and son.
